The IPA supports student members (and other eligible members) to present their research at ICPhS and other international conferences, symposia and workshops on the speech sciences that are co-sponsored by
the IPA.
The IPA Student Awards usually cover the early-bird student registration fee for conferences other than ICPhS; for ICPhS, it covers the early-bird student registration fee and accommodation costs. Information about the availability of, and application for, these awards is provided by conference organizers to student attendees and the IPA.
Conference organisers can contact the Committee on Conference Sponsorships and Student Awards (studentawards@internationalphoneticassociation.org) to discuss the terms of the sponsorship.

Priority will be given to students presenting their research at conferences; for students participating at conferences as auditors, awards will be made on a first come, first served basis.
