Materials on this site are used in accordance with Fair Use provisions for copyrighted materials with permissions from specific copyright holders who have documents in the Handbook of the IPA or in the Journal of the IPA. The electronic data from the Handbook of the IPA or the Journal of the IPA are intended for scholarly research and educational use. You may use these files for research or educational purposes free of charge and without further permission. Republication or commercial use of the data is expressly prohibited without the written consent of the International Phonetic Association. These data have been provided through the generous contribution of spoken material from original research studies.
