Preaspiration as a Quantity Feature

Par Wretling, Eva Strangert, Felix Schaeffler

Umeå University, Sweden

Preaspiration, moreover interacts with quantity, although in different ways in the two dialects. This dependence on preaspiration for the distinction of quantity is the topic of this paper reporting production as well as perception data.
